money is debt - debt is money + intertest = economic slavery - jerome daly : The Man Who Humbled the Federal ReserveSubmitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Mon, 12/14/2009 - 01:31.
NaturalNews) Jerome Daly is one of the few men to take on the might of the Federal Reserve in the courts and win. 40 years ago, a Minnesota bank attempted to foreclose on Daly`s mortgage but he humiliated them, thanks to his profound knowledge of Fractional Reserve Banking and a courageous, scrupulously honest judge. The judge delivered a dynamite decision that blasted the Federal Reserve and National Banks as unconstitutional and fraudulent. ( categories: )

Pull the undercover low rider out of the cave and go cruising around Tremont after the sun goes down on just about any given night and "people watchin" takes on a whole new prospective.

This week, Cleveland's city planning commission denied permission for Nike to replace the giant 10 story Lebron James banner across the street from Quicken Loans arena with this new one... ...for obvious reasons. Click through for more.

TAXES - FAIR & UNFAIR, DUMB & DUMBERSubmitted by Roldo on Tue, 11/17/2009 - 10:49.
I guess I’m just stupid. I don’t get it. Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson wants to tax garbage to raise $13 million a year. Then he wants to tax non-profits to raise $5 million a year.

Busking in ClevelandSubmitted by lmcshane on Sun, 11/15/2009 - 19:08.
On my way to hear the amazing Loung Ung at Cleveland Public Library, I caught a few minutes of Busker Bradley J. on East Fourth St. He is scraping by in NEO by playing guitar on the streets. So far, he has eluded the authorities, and he admits he hasn't checked the cost of a busker license.

Come to Cleveland for a DraftSubmitted by Jeff Buster on Sat, 11/14/2009 - 21:21.
Come to Cleveland for a Draft, a coal fume down draft that is. Tonight the spotlight is on the nocturnal emission from the Cleveland Thermal steam plant - delivered fresh to East 4th Street just a few blocks away. Bend your elbow mates, inhale the craft brew, it's all yours! AHHHHHHhhhhaa

A PILLOW FOR GUY - GUY AND YOGI - TWO OF TREMONTS BRIGHEST STARSSubmitted by jerleen1 on Sat, 11/14/2009 - 15:51.
Well, Guy won't find any minute listening devices inside this pillow but maybe it will serve as a small reminder that he and Yogi are two of Tremont's shinning stars. Whether they took your pillows or not Guy, here's one you'll remember. It's a tribute to your run for the TWDC Board last year and the story we got out in the December issue of the Plain Press. Jeff, I was unsuccessful in posting with the proper topic - so maybe I did follow instruction very well.

Song of the Day: "Wish You Were Here" - Pink FloydSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Wed, 11/11/2009 - 23:09.
In two days, November 14, it will be a year since Ed Hauser died unnecessarily, for lack of adequate public healthcare in America. A year ago today, Ed's death could have been prevented, if he had access to better preventative healthcare, along the way... doctors visits, testing, and warning about a broken heart.
Apple with dead leavesSubmitted by Jeff Buster on Tue, 11/10/2009 - 19:36.
The Indians in New York State have casinos. I drove past the casinos and was pulled in by one of those dilapidated road side farmer's stands. I spent 28 dollars on food raised on the Seneca First Nation. I am eating the proceeds of my entertainment. Dan Gilbert wants NEO to eat chips.

WILL COUNTY REFORM BE SPELLED: R-E-P-U-B-L-I-C-A-N?Submitted by Roldo on Sun, 11/08/2009 - 15:21.
Could the pathetic condition of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party give us a Republican for the first County executive? Is the Pee Dee already pushing a Republican, the out-of-county son of Cleveland Indians’ owner Larry Dolan for the top spot?

Coal is Clean - Why have Chimneys?Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sat, 11/07/2009 - 23:20.
Unit trains of coal dead end at the Dunkirk electric power generating station on the shore of Lake Erie in Dunkirk, New York. No one minds the tons of coal disappearing up the chimneys because the wind picks up the effluent from the train cars and spins it off across Lake Erie to Toronto, Canada.

MOW YOUR LEAVESSubmitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 10/26/2009 - 09:03.
Just a friendly reminder not to waste any of your leaves' "solar power" by raking them to the street curb. You can mulch them in place with a mower, or compost them in your back yard. This is the third year for this lawn - didn't have to water all summer because of the organics now built up like a sponge at the base of the grass - never had any burn out either. Forget Scotts.

Dan Gilbert, Cavs owner and seeker of a monopoly casino here, laughed off a question about a felony gambling charge against him at the City Club debate here today. He described it as a minor infraction by an 18-year old.
